Acceptance & eligibility

By creating an account or using Lumio you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and able to form a binding agreement. Use Lumio lawfully.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your content & ownership

You keep all rights to the images and videos you upload and to your results. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process your file and return the result to you — nothing more. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models.

Acceptable use

Don’t upload illegal content or content that infringes others’ rights or privacy; don’t create deceptive, harmful, or non-consensual material; and don’t abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Plans & payment

Lumio is currently free while in testing. When paid plans launch, the price, billing cycle, and refund terms shown at checkout will form part of these terms, and payments will be handled by our payment provider. We’ll give notice before introducing charges.

Service “as is”

Lumio is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Automatic background removal is not perfect — results vary, especially on very fast motion or fine detail. We may change, limit, or pause the service, particularly during this free testing phase.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumio and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using Lumio and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves; we’ll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your country / state], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
